Data engineer/scientist i Stockholm

We're continuing to increase focus on data and analytics to become smarter in business and marketing decisions. The need for turning our large data quantities into accessible insights as well as advanced machine learning algorithms has never been greater, and we have found a need to strengthen the team specifically in the area of data gathering, model building and analytics.

You're experienced in programming languages related to machine learning, such as R and Python, and you're not afraid of learning and testing additional ones. You have experience in preparing data for analysis, deploying various analytics methods and you're interested in deepening your knowledge within the field of analytics. In addition to working closely with the analytics team, you find it exciting to collaborate closely with for example journalists, marketing managers and management on all levels.

The role will include tasks such as:

• Building necessary data pipelines for analytics
• Developing predictive models together with members of our analytics and data team
• Contributing in data architectural discussions and decision making
• Ensuring that analytics models deliver value to business

• Good knowledge of data modelling, ETL pipelines and general database concepts
• Experienced in building, maintaining and scaling data infrastructures
• Programming skills in SQL and preferably others, for example R, Python etc.
• Ability to translate analytics insights to business
• Interest in latest analytics trends and best practices
• Desire to work in an agile, cross functional environment
• A degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other relevant field
