Application Expert / System Expert i Stockholm

Are you an experienced IT professional with drive and great communication skills?

We are looking for a Application Expert / System Expert for our tax, bank and payroll systems. The position is situated within the service area Finance & Accounting. An area that supports the financial accounting and reporting processes throughout the H&M Group commercial and non-commercial business processes.

As Application Expert, you will have the expert knowledge of the systems and proactively improve business processes together with system responsible. You will have many connections, internal as well as external, and that gives an opportunity to build a wide competence base and personal network within H&M IT. The team you will be part of includes four more Application Experts, two Solution Responsible and is led by a System Responsible.

The team is responsible for development and maintenance of systems within General Accounting, Payroll, Bank and Tax. You would primarily work with our systems for Payroll, Bank and Tax. The systems operate at the core of H&M´s business, i.e. sales to our customers both online and in stores, and are strategic systems for the future. Here you will get the opportunity to work with priority 1 systems and you will for example learn about complex sales tax regulations. Our systems support all the H&M brands.

Your responsibilities

The job of an Application Expert at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

• Providing technical expertise of the functions and flows in the systems
• Providing technical expertise of the architecture of the systems (e.g. integration, webservices, security)
• Coordination of activities to secure release, patches, upgrades and changes in integrations
• Configuration of the systems
• Demand handling
• Incident management and support
• Perform troubleshooting
• Case management

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative, sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism.

In addition, you have:

• 2-3 years or more experience working with similar roles/responsibilities, for example as requirement analyst, tester or developer
• Experience of components like databases, servers, web services and web applications
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English
• Structured way of working and keeping deadlines
• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team
• Ability to take own initiatives and act proactively
• Analytical approach
• The will to simplify and streamline – make it simple

It is an advantage if you have experience working with tax, payment and/or salary systems.
