This role is within our Consumer Connectivity Services (CCS) team, which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. This is a rapidly growing team, and we are looking for outstanding people who will be some of the earliest hires in their function, helping to establish it at Volvo Cars. 

Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and implementing the infrastructure layer of the Volvo Platform.  Your responsibilities will include
architecting a resilient platform, with high availability and auto scaling. You are experienced with micro services and containerization.

Required Skills:

Experience in Linux administration (Nginx, netstat, tcpdump, perf, top, bash/shell, …)

Experience in AWS (ec2, vpc, rds, iam, apigateway, ...)

Experience with Docker

Experience with Kubernetes

Experience with Terraform

Understanding OSI layers

Good security practices

General culture about existing tech stacks
