What we want you to do

MTG has for the past year actively been working on a global GDPR project striving towards compliance with the legislation on all aspects. The role we are looking for will maintain the remaining parts of the project as well as act as a support towards the business in the subject matter. Part of the work will be to plan and effectuate GDPR continuity as well as preparation for the upcoming E-privacy legislation. Cooperation is a major part of the role and you’ll have contact with management, lawyers, HR and CSR representatives in those territories in which MTG operates in relation to Data Protection.

Above this, you’ll also manage the impact of potential breaches and data incidents and lead investigations where necessary into data protection issues.

What we’re looking for

A qualified lawyer with 3-5 years of a similar role, either in private practice or in-house. The service provides great exposure to both external and internal contacts, and thus the characteristics of credibility, integrity and authority are of great importance. You should also work well, even with tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.

The continuation of the GDPR project, raising awarenessand the continuous education of stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws are important parts of the job, therefore, it’s a major advantage if this is something that you find interesting. Above this, it’s also important to have solid influencing and organizational skills in order to effectively educate and mentor in these processes. Since the corporate language of MTG is English, you should have great speaking and writing skills in the English language. Good knowledge in Swedish is also an advantage.
