SW System Engineer i Stockholm

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a SW System Engineer working with HW within the Remote Site Management (RSM) area. RSM is a standalone solution consist of SW and HW and provides the customer with a cost effective and sustainability solution for their sites solutions.

 As a SW System Engineer you will be responsible to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities:

The holder of this position must have profound understanding about how software and hardware interacts and how hardware blocks and interfaces work and how these shall be modeled. Since Linux, Jboss, C, Erlang often used, good knowledge of these operation and application system is a necessity for the position-holder.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: B Sc in engineering or equivalent
• Min years of experience: 8 years
• Broad technical competence in Radio and Site products, RBS (Radio Base Station) and RAN understanding for GSM, WCDMA and LTE
• Domain experience:
  • Controller SW architecture
  • Basic O&M, OSS/ENM
  • SW requirement, I&V and product release handling
  • Understanding customer requirements broken down
  • Requirement handling database and requirement handling tools
  • System design process, Blackbox and 3PP
  • JBoss, Java-Swing, Linux, C, Erlang, Git, SW & HW Verification
• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
• Business understanding
• Working with people and networking:
