Solutions Architect
Working to help solve tough technical problems, you will also help shape and deliver on our strategy to build broad Public Sector use of Amazon's utility computing web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Elastic MapREduce and Amazon CloudFront). You will own the technical engagement with strategic partners and you’ll have outstanding customer facing skills at all levels. With a deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing, you will own the technical engagement, respond to RFIs and RFPs, remove account management blockers, and define implementation and transition architectures to achieve ultimate success around specific technical projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a strategic part of the Business Development and Account Management team, you will help to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform. This will include:

· Engaging with systems integrators and supporting their technical implementation efforts, as well as sharing best-practice knowledge amongst the worldwide AWS solution architect community, as well as your Public Sector SA team
· Collaborating with AWS Account Management teams and supporting APN Consulting and Technology Partners to deliver maximum customer value
· Assisting solution providers and government agencies with the definition and implementation of technical and business strategies

· This is a role that requires experience in both technical and customer-facing skills, with the ability to drive discussions with senior level customers, whilst also having the capability to give guidance to software developers, IT professionals and system architects.
· You’ll be highly technical and analytical with significant experience in software development, networking implementation, security and compliance.
· A technical degree in computer science, software engineering, or maths is highly desired, as is a working knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies.
· AWS Certification would be an additional bonus.
· Fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages is required

· Executive speaking and presentation skills – Formal presentations, white boarding, large and small group presentations is highly desired
· Working knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies such as agile methodologies and DevOps is highly desired.
