Microwave Supply Chain Management is part of Networks Supply within Ericsson Business Area Networks responsible for developing and managing the global end to end supply chains for Microwave Networks products throughout the entire product life cycle. Manufacturing sites are located in Brazil, Hungary, India and Sweden. Microwave Supply Chain Management is located in Borås, Sweden and accountable as microwave supply lead site.

Being part of the Microwave Supply Chain Management team within Networks Supply you will be a key player enabling excellent supply flows, essential to ensure customer satisfaction and sales profitability on top level as well as outperforming competition in our industry.

 

Job description

As a Line Manager for Supply you play a key function coaching your employees in daily operation and setting required processes supporting efficient way of working using global production sites and global outbound locations. Detailed understanding and interest in the organizations responsibility is essential as well as supply chain management end to end competence. The role may be focused more on operational, tactical or strategic activities, hence customer focus shall always be in focus. Close contact with Sourcing, Product Management, Sales, Market Areas and other supply functions are important securing customer orders are delivered on time and using most efficient supply chains along with balancing global inventory and lead time requirements. The role also requires close contact with suppliers and customers. An innovative mind-set is crucial to simplify work using the latest technology as well as meeting future competence requirements within Supply Chain Management. You will be reporting to Head of Microwave Supply Chain Management and become a member of the leadership team.

 

The main responsibility will include, but not be limited to:

  • Coaching individuals and teams and adding energy in daily operation towards set targets
  • Securing efficient way of working to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, with the right content, quality and cost
  • Monitoring and analyzing flow performance in accordance with customer needs and in balance with cost and efficiency requirements
  • Pro-actively work with supply chain end-to-end activities, involving suppliers and colleagues globally, to avoid potential disturbances in the supply chain
  • Review set processes, define, plan and follow up improvement work to meet future demands, incl. Key Performance Indicators required, with ‘best-in-class’ mind-set
  • Inspiring your team towards high performance and innovative culture

 

Competence

Formal education required:

  • Master degree in Supply Chain, Operational Management, Industrial Management or equivalent level of experience
  • Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years work experience in Supply Chain
  • Proven management or leadership experience

 

Requested competence:

  • Highly developed leadership skills and change management skills coaching teams and individuals to reach targets, developing efficient way of working as well as ensuring continuous learning
  • Huge amount of energy and drive with a strong target focus and sense of urgency meeting customer requests
  • Highly developed market and business skills to ensure most efficient supply chains are identified and implemented in balance with cost requirements
  • Experience in management meetings with customers and suppliers
  • Highly developed presentation and communication skills
  • Innovative and executing mind-set. Curious to find new way of working to handle challenges in a changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
