Microwave Supply Chain Management is part of Networks Supply within Ericsson Business Area Networks. The business area is responsible for developing and managing the global end to end supply chains for Microwave Networks products throughout the entire product life cycle. Manufacturing sites are located in; Brazil, Hungary, India and Sweden. Microwave Supply Chain Management is located in Borås, Sweden and accountable as microwave supply lead site.

Microwave backhaul continues to play a very important role in the evolution of 5G. Being part of the Microwave Supply Chain Management team within Networks Supply you will be a key player enabling excellent supply flows, essential to ensure customer satisfaction and sales profitability on top level as well as outperforming competition in our industry.

 

Job description

As a Supply planner you will be responsible for suggesting and implement required buffer levels in our Supply Chain, from supplier to ware house, ensuring that customer lead time is always met. You will also handle and calculate capability at our supplier and be involved when products are being phase in or phase out. An innovative mind-set is crucial to simplify work using the latest technology as well as meeting future competence requirements within Supply Chain Management.

 

The main responsibility will include, but not be limited to:

  • Suggest and implement decided buffer levels
  • Monitor and act upon deviations
  • Proactively steer buffer levels according to phase in and phase out decisions
  • Calculate supplier capability and suggest activities to secure customer demands
  • Set way of working and secure quality in our internal processes
  • Work with continuous improvements to optimize way of working

 

Competence

Formal education required:

  • Master degree in Supply Chain, Operational Management, Industrial Management or equivalent level of experience
  • Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years work experience in Supply Chain

 

Requested competence:

  • Team player with highly developed customer focus
  • Innovative mind-set and energy contributing to most efficient supplier set-ups
  • Highly developed ability to act and drive own work as well as flexibility to act quickly towards potential material constraints
  • Structured way of working, analytic and able to handle great number of activities in a parallel
  • Good understanding of dependencies and consequences related to costs, inventory, scrap and similar
  • Background in Supply Management preferable
  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic microwave product knowledge and SAP
