Online Operations
The Online Operations function is a team within H&M Online Sales, who is responsible for making sure that  is up and running, working as expected and that all commercial and sales related activities are working as planned. Online Operations is responsible for making sure that the customer can shop, pay and receive their orders for all our 45 e-commerce markets. The team works globally and today consists of E-commerce Operations Coordinators, Site Managers and a Head of Online Operations. 
 
 
Your responsibilities
The job of an E-commerce Operations Coordinator at H&M Online Sales comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun! You will be responsible for reporting, prioritizing and evaluating the business impact of disturbances in connection with daily maintenance of all our digital sales channels for hm.com. For example:
  • Attend daily status meetings with IT and communicate the expectation from Online Sales.
  • Coordinate and translate needs between Online Sales (such as Merch/ VM teams) and IT.
  • Work close with the commercial activities planned for hm.com.
  • Key contact person for IT and responsible for approving changes done in the production environment and making sure that, together with IT, impact and potential downtime of the site and systems are minimized.
  • Decision maker during disturbances and main contact person for IT to make well weighted decisions based on optimal business impact.
  • Set up and drive cross functional forums together with other functions (i.e. Logistics, Accounting, Finance and Customer Service) making sure that we set a priority that benefits H&M and are focused on our customer benefit.
 
The work has a cross-functional focus since coordination of disturbances often need to be made within and between our own function as well as across other functions within H&M (e.g. Logistics, IT and Marketing). As part of Online Operations, you will be involved in setting new standards and way-of-working across all our e-commerce markets.
 
Who are you?
In order to succeed as an E-commerce Operations Coordinator we believe you are a service minded team player with strong communication skills and an interest working the intersection of IT and business. You are interested in understanding details, but also have the ability to quickly get an overview and see the big-picture. For this role, you also need skills as: 
 
  • Great understanding and strong interest in IT – to be able to take part in technical discussions and understanding the potentials and risks both from a business point of view as well as IT in order to make the best possible decisions regarding incidents. We believe you could have previous experience as a Requirement Analyst, Super User or similar.
  • Used to work in team as well as independently.
  • Ability to communicate with different types of people and roles within both business and IT.
  • Great communication skills, in both Swedish and English.
  • It is an advantage, but not a must, if you have knowledge of Incident Management, Root Cause- and Risk Analysis.
