Assignment Manager for Customized Truck Development i Sodertalje

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The Customized Truck Development department develops and project manages customer and market adaptations of chassis and components. It also develops complete trucks and provides support for bodybuilders. This is an expansive area where Scania is making major investments in order to break new ground in new segments and markets.

The Product Engineering & Emerging Markets group is responsible for project management within red arrow for complete Customized Trucks as well as localisation of articles on new markets. The group currently consists of around 20 people in Södertälje and around the world. We are now looking for an experienced project manager to run and coordinate FQ issues within the entire department’s area of responsibility, with a focus on electrical and system deviations.

Your duties

You will run short red arrow projects in our Quick team. We can offer you varied, fast-paced work, where you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the complete truck. The work takes place in close cooperation with other cross-functions within R&D, marketing, aftermarket, production and purchasing, among other departments. There are significant opportunities for challenging and improving working methods and processes within the department. We expect you to make a significant contribution here!

Your profile

• You are creative, responsible, organised and flexible.
• You have experience of electrical and system development at Scania.
• You have experience of quality work both internally and for the end customer.
• You possess significant inner drive, enjoy fast-paced work and are passionate about the challenge of finding solutions to new problems.
• You find it easy to cooperate with others and can motivate and lead your work group towards a given goal.
• You will be fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
• You have an MSc in Engineering and a few years’ professional experience.
