Junior Information Security consultant i Malmö

Overall role

As our new junior information security consultant you will work closely together with a team of highly professional information security specialists, to implement fit for purpose and value adding information security in Codan/Trygg-Hansa. In collaboration with the team you will complete security risk assessments to assess new technologies and business processes, you will complete risk assessment and onsite audit of our 3rd party suppliers and you will support our internal IT and security risk appetite framework. Additionally, you will take lead on the internal employee training and awareness agenda across Scandi, to ensure that all employees have a good understanding of the security risks we face and feel responsible to act in a secure manner. 


Key focus areas

• Security Training and Awareness.
  
• Support training and awareness activities to increase the understanding of potential risks and adequate behavior across all Scandinavian teams.
  
• Security Consultancy and Risk Assessments.
  
• Collaborate with the business and project teams to identify solutions to security challenges they may introduce, which enable RSA to be compliant and secure whilst enabling business growth.
  
• Applying policy requirements and other guidelines to IT services and solutions.
  
• Support 3rd party supplier assurance activities and evidence assessment, to evaluate if the supplier setup is adequate considering services provided. 
   

Profile

• Strong interest in Information Security.
  
• 3-5 years of relevant education, preferably with some years of practical experience.
  
• Strong analytical and communicative skills (both in speak and on paper).
  
• xls and sharepoint at expert level.
  
• Dynamic and feeling comfortable engaging with stakeholders across both IT and business.
  
• Ambitious – this role will give a great opportunity to engage with a team of senior information security experts, and the ability to grow into more senior roles over time.
  
• Passionate about new technologies – and how to implement appropriate security in an agile and customer engaging fashion when moving to cloud, robotics, advanced analytics etc.
  
• Work independently and proactive.
  

You are fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages. 

You will report to the Manager of Information Security Management. The Information Security office holds a Scandinavian responsibility. The position is based in Malmø and some travel must be expected.
