Senior Consolidation Manager to Valtech i Stockholm

We are seeking a senior consolidation manager who will be responsible for the consolidated accounts in an international and successful group with operations in 16 countries. The Group's formal headquarters are located in London but Head of Financial Reporting, to whom you will report, is situated in Stockholm. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to work in an international environment, but with base in Stockholm. The role requires experience and independence and we are seeking a person with solid IFRS and consolidated financial reporting skills. 

Your local colleagues in finance is a group of seven people, based in Stockholm. However, your function is 100% at Valtech group level. 

Your duties and responsibilities:  

• Preparation of the group’s consolidated accounts, for example net equity analyze, consolidated cash flow, consolidated statement of comprehensive income etc
• Sharing knowledge about IFRS and implementation of new IFRS standards
  
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings and financial reporting
  
• Develop, identify and ensure the Group's accounting policies and compliance
  
• Help and support the entities regarding accounting and financial reporting
  

Experience and qualifications:

We are seeking a person with Bachelor of Economics or similar academic education and with at least ten years of work experience from similar tasks. We think you have a background in auditing and then at least five years of working with consolidation. You have experience from an international company, but it may also be your next challenge. However, you need to have good knowledge of IFRS and experience with Group reporting systems.

As a person, you have an excellent communicative ability and experience from interaction with auditors. You enjoy having a large contact network within the organization and to spread knowledge and develop common processes and routines.

Travel is not a regular part of the role, and will be very limited. When it comes to language skills, English is a requirement and Swedish is an advantage.
