Frostbite is a technology and collaboration platform for diverse game franchises like Battlefield, Mass Effect, Need for Speed, Dragon Age and Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Star Wars: Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst as well as games such as FIFA and Madden.

Thousands of game developers all over the world are using Frostbite to create games with our tools. They need efficient, robust and intuitive workflows in order to create awesome games!

Role
You will be part of our team developing core applications, services and frameworks for the Frostbite game authoring toolchain. Our software is a critical part of our content creators daily work, providing tools for asset creation and tuning using our development tools and infrastructure.

We think you are an experienced C++ engineer with experience of developing high performance, business critical services. You will be part of a team of engineers at our Stockholm office and  will collaborate with engineers on teams in Stockholm and our other development sites. In addition to this you will be working with game teams around the world to understand their specific needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years professional C++ experience.
• Comfortable working within an established code base.
• Self-motivated and collaborative attitude.
• Experience in building robust, high-performance concurrent software.

Merits

• MSc or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience developing in the Windows 7/10 environment.
• Experience implementing databases or file systems.
• Some experience with recent web technologies and HTTP.
• Experience with agile development practices.
• Familiarity with Frostbite-developed games.
