The H&M Group is a global leading fashion retailer operating in 69 markets with eight brands; H&M, H&M Home, COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday, &Other Stories, ARKET and Afound. The H&M brand is the biggest brand in the group. The Marketing & Communications department consists of around 400 people in Stockholm with many colleagues around the world. We are now looking for an experienced HR manager to join Marketing & Communications and become part of an exciting HR journey in the H&M brand.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Based in Stockholm, you will lead a HR team working closely together with our leaders in the Marketing & Communications department. You will set a business focused HR agenda with emphasis on developing a capable and agile workforce meeting the needs of tomorrow. You will identify and develop talents and work through the leaders, enabling them to become leaders of the future. Together with the department leaders you will play an important role in identifying opportunities of improvement and drive change. The HR manager is both a strategic and hands-on role to enable the Marketing & Communications department to deliver towards the overall H&M business goals. You will be a member of the management team.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Set and plan the HR agenda for the Marketing & Communications department given the business needs and the HR brand strategy

  • Run yearly people processes such as talent management and succession planning, dialogues, salary review, engagement survey etc 

  • Lead and drive improvements projects - with organizational and people impact

  • Follow up and coach/support leaders on e.g. talents, development needs and leadership

  • Collaborate closely with HR colleagues in brand and outside

As part of the global HR H&M brand team you will design and implement the HR strategy for the brand together with your HR colleagues. You will bring business insights, HR knowledge and you will share best practice, all to increase the value HR brings to the business. As part of your role you will implement and run global people processes in a way which helps our leaders to effectively deliver results via their teams, engage and develop their people.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a skilled, HR professional who makes a business impact by understanding how the business works and how HR can add most value. We also see that you;

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar role and an educational background in HR, business management or relevant comparable experience

  • Are positive and ambitious, a fast learner driving constant improvements with a pragmatic approach

  • Have an analytical and business oriented mindset, is curious and insightful

  • Can switch seamlessly between strategic and operational focus

  • Are strong on integrity and build trust by ‘Walking the talk’, an ambassador for our Values

  • Possess strong coaching skills and work with leaders comfortably
