Ready for a change to the better? Manager position within Purchasing Quality available i Sodertalje

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The SQ organization within Purchasing is responsible for quality assurance of all supplier delivered parts and you can be our next manager to Head the Cab interior team, SQCI. 

Your team consist of 5 highly motivated individuals who besides caring for quality in the close cooperation with cross functions like R&D, production and aftermarket inside the world of Scania, also travel around the globe in order to secure that every part received from our suppliers and into our factories are within specification – because we want to contribute to that also tomorrows delivery of grocery to your local corner shop arrives, that also hospitals tomorrow can be up & running during a power outage and that passengers on all those buses safely arrives to their family or friends. 

Our success is based on the usage of the well-tuned processes and tools available, as well as our openness to challenge our own methods in the process of adapting to new situations. 

Your job is to lead your team. By having a clear understanding of how the local activities contribute to the bigger picture including both corporate as well as organizational targets, you create awareness and confidence in your employees in order for them to focus on the right things at the right time.

With your proven ability to lead others, maybe from areas like production or R&D, you will use experience together with the Scania leadership principles to create a top team who with high integrity, good judgement and sense of urgency will deliver a fantastic result – feeling awesome doing so.
