Product Manager – Playback Platform API i Stockholm

Spotify lets our users listen out loud via a huge variety of partner platforms, from speakers and games consoles to voice assistants and cars.

We are looking for a product manager who can triangulate the varied needs of these existing platforms – as well as the emergent needs of tomorrow’s – and translate them into a robust and scalable set of playback APIs. You will lead a team of dedicated engineers and work closely with internal stakeholders in the partners space to deliver a robust foundation for millions of users enjoying Spotify via diverse consumer surfaces.

You must be located in, or willing to relocate to, Stockholm, Sweden, where this team resides. Spotify offer relocation packages to those not already based in Stockholm.

• Articulate, evolve and champion the team’s vision and mission.
• Lean in to major company initiatives in order to proactively reduce the time-to-market while ensuring sustainable development pace and low technical debt.
• Seek out high value emerging opportunities and position the product such that the business can rapidly take full advantage.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to make sure that you and the team provides for the company’s short- and long-term goals.
• Collaborate with a team of Product Managers in the SDK area as we continue to evolve our combined product offering.
• Work with the Engineering Manager to make sure that your team is strong and healthy – including capabilities, happiness, resilience and growth.
• Make sure your team is doing the right things, while not spreading too thinly. A healthy balance of innovation, support and maintenance is key for all successful teams at Spotify.

• Demonstrated success building out a technical platform as a product.
• A passion for the Spotify as a product and a user experience.
• Domain knowledge of the music industry and/or online entertainment.
