Storage Infrastructure Engineer to Data Center Hosting i Stockholm

Data Center Hosting is a cross border department within Swedbank IT with personnel in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The department is divided in four teams with the mission to maintain and continuously improve the deliveries of stable, reliable and costeffective environments within the data center areas: Windows Server, Unix/Linux, Virtual Infrastructure and Storage. Each team´s operational delivery is coordinated and led by a Service Manager.

The Storage team within the department aims to maintain and continuously improve the delivery of a stable, reliable and cost-effective storage environment consisting of SAN, file & block storage, archive and backup. Improvement activities with focus on automation are implemented in close cooperation with infrastructure architects.
We are now looking for a Storage Infrastructure Engineer with deep knowledge and experience in one or several areas of our main storage deliveries: SAN, file & block storage, archive and backup. In addition we expect you to have good knowledge and experience within the remaining areas.
You will work in a team of infrastructure engineers and in close cooperation with infrastructure architects.
You will be a part of temporary delivery teams with the aim to deliver a certain assignment/project but also coordinate similar activities.

• You have deep knowledge and experience in one or several areas of our main storage deliveries - SAN, file & block storage, archive and backup. In addition we expect you to have good knowledge and experience within the remaining areas
• We like to see that you are engaged and continuously strive to improve our deliveries with focus on automation and hence have good scripting/programming skills and experience
• You have scripting/programming skills and experience with focus on automation You enjoy working in an international environment with colleagues and deliveries in different countries
• Teamwork is your strength but you don´t mind working independently either
• You see changes as a challenge and have the ability to think outside the box to continuously identify improvement areas
• You have excellent communication and documentation skills and speak and write English fluently
