Job Description

Join our data and analytics team as a data scientist! We use our large data quantities and turn it into accessible insights as well as advanced machine learning algorithms and we’re now searching for a data scientist to be a part of our team and join us in exploring and use ML-models to understand our online and offline data.

You're experienced in programming languages related to machine learning, such as R and Python, and you're not afraid of learning and testing additional ones. You have experience from working with predictive modelling and have worked with or have the ambition to work with machine learning and related techniques. In addition to working closely with the analytics team, you find it exciting to collaborate closely with for example journalists, marketing managers and management on all levels.

The role will include tasks such as:

  • Developing new predictive models to improve our products, our brands and our communication in collaboration with our analytics and data team

  • Maintain and improve our current models

  • Contributing and shaping the area of data science within the company and the Bonnier Group

  • Ensuring that analytics models deliver value to business

Skills & Requirements
  • Basic written and spoken level of Swedish is required

  • Good knowledge of statistical methology and analytics

  • Experience of machine learning, deep learning, predictive modelling

  • Programming skills in for example R, Python, SAS and SQL

  • Ability to translate analytics insights to business

  • Interest in latest analytics trends and best practices

  • Desire to work in an agile, cross functional environment

  • A degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other relevant field
