Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions.

Our Cyber Security business unit develops products and services to increase the level of cyber security in Saabs portfolio. The rapid ongoing digitalization demands continuously improved and updated cyber security capability and data protection to maintain the privacy, integrity and availability of data and systems.
 
We develop a cloud based platform that takes full advantage of the benefits of virtualisation without compromising cyber security including tool chains that enables continuous compliance with high release velocity.

You will be a part of one of our development teams and work closely together with them to build a robust, secure, continuous integration, delivery and deployment platform.

As a Software Defined Network Developer you are expected to take responsible for everything from system architectural questions to implementation and verification on an everyday bases.

As our platform is heavily based on security it is essential with knowledge of authentication, encryption, audit logging and other security measures.

You are expected to develop effective, reasonable and doable solutions to problems meanwhile see the overall picture and not the details.

Relevant university degree:
• Masters degree in Computer Science or other equivalent background
 
Relevant knowledge of:
• Network operating systems and SDN controllers
• Switch fabric architectures, from core switches to access points
• P4 language
• Virtualisation and containerisation techniques
• Open source collaboration
• Security frameworks (eg. KSF 3, NIST)
• Security measures (eg. encryption, certificates, audit logging, two factor authentication, …)
• Agile methodolog

To be successful in this role we expect you to have a good knowledge of Barefoot switches, P4 language and other relevant areas.
