For more than 20 years Vattenfall have worked with life cycle assessment of energy sources. We use this information as a fundament for our own environmental management activities, but also to provide innovative energy solutions to our customers that help them to reduce their environmental impact and the impacts on society at large.
To strengthen our activities within life cycle thinking, environmental monitoring and environmental product declarations we now seek an Environmental Advisor for our Group Environmental function.
As Environmental Advisor, you will be a vital part in contributing to Vattenfall’s Environmental ambitions and projects. Your tasks will be diversified, but one task will be to contribute to life cycle assessments, environmental data analytics and identification of environmental improvements. In the role you will be in contact with many different stakeholders both internally and externally such as customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Qualifications
• Relevant University degree
• Preferably experience with life cycle assessments and the international EPD system (ISO14025)
• Strong analytical mind-set and a structured way of working
• Deliver high quality output and have the ability to transform data information to initiatives and opportunities
• A team player and good in collaborating across knowledge areas and cultures
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex information into simplified messages
• Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written. Swedish language skills is a merit
The position is initially for 1 year and based in Stockholm, but you must be prepared for some travelling activities in relation to your work.
