Ericsson is the driving force behind the Networked Society where every person and every industry is empowered to reach their full potential. We make a difference, do you wanna shape the world with us?
In BID (BNEW ICT Development Environment) we development DNEW’s CI (Continuous Integration) framework, test tools, test automation framework, test orchestration and test environment. The mission for BID is to enable cost efficient radio development worldwide with our development environment as a competitive advantage, both for present and future business needs.
We need to strengthen one of our development teams that develop our Java-based test automation framework called MJE. The framework is an Ericsson inner source product on top of JUnit/TestNG and is used by different Ericsson organizations for feature and system testing of Radio and Router products. Currently we are implementing support for virtualized nodes and 5G radio as well as getting more involved in open source initiatives.
You and your team will be implementing new and maintaining framework features. Together you will drive innovation and make new ideas a reality. The tasks require an open-minded and curious approach. You want to continuously learn and improve together with your team. When doing your work, you will use tools like IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, Git, Gerrit, Sonar, Jenkins and Nexus. We use Java as the main programming language, but also other languages like Grovy, Bash and Pearl are used occasionally. As a team member you will also provide support to users and conduct training sessions.
