Window Creator i Stockholm

Based on the Visual departments values you will design qualitative and brand building window ideas and store experiences for all H&M stores, worldwide. Creating windows and in store setups that are engaging & inspiring for our customers, whilst beating our competition on each location..

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A creative person with a high drive and passion for developing the visual H&M experience and that has fashion interest. You should be motivated by developing and improving the creative ideas for the visual department, improving processes as well as creating the best customer experience. You will ensure that campaigns have consistently high standards and are in line with the vision and visual identity for the H&M Brand.

We’re looking for someone with an experience within window and retail design and brand understanding. The successful candidate should be efficient and comfortable in computer work and hands on in a Test Lab environment and be able to communicate and present ideas to all types of audiences, in an inspiring way! 

OVERALL ROLE

You will work as part of a team and be responsible for the design and development of the Window idea. You will present these ideas in a clear and inspiring way to stake holders and your project team. You will be responsible to oversee production to ensure that the idea is translated correctly to the prototype and eventually to build the design in the test lab.  You will be responsible to communicate guidelines that can be used worldwide within our store teams to ensure that the execution is to the highest standard.

As part of your role you will work in close collaboration with other team members and cross functionally with various departments such as NCG Purchase, Marketing, Merchandising, PR & Social Media, Buying office. Your results will have a big impact and you can really make a difference!

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

·       Creating window ideas and setups for all H&M concepts and stores.

·       See the design process through, from sketch to building with prototypes in our test lab

·       Executing existing ideas or developing new designs

·       Drive ideas and development of the design in close collaboration with Project Team and cross functionally within the Head Office.                   

·       Communicate all ideas and presentations with Company Stake Holders.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU

·       Have broad experience as window / retail designer, preferably 1-3 years

·       Display form / product presentation experience

·       Have documented experience of high level, creative window setups, with a portfolio to support.

·       Have proven creative capacity: working from brief & initiate/drive independent projects.

·       Have knowledge and insight into visual merchandising

·       Have a passionate interest for fashion and retail.

·       Are strong in both ideas and implementation

·       Have strong communication skills, fluent English is a must, written and spoken

·       Have ability to organize and prioritize.

·       Are experienced in working with Microsoft office, Adobe CS (Photoshop and Illustrator)

·       Are a handy DIY person, as you will build / alter the window ideas with prototypes in our test lab

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

·       Experience in working with Rhinoceros, or similar modelling programs

·       Experience in working with Keyshot, or similar modelling programs

Position is a full-time position based in Stockholm, Sweden. You will report to Window manager.
