Digital Enabler – Be part of  Scanias industrial digitalization i Sodertalje

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

One focus area in Scanias change journey is smart, effective and sustainable production and logistics (P&L), where digitalizing business processes is the key. In the work to define and establish our digital capabilities the contribution of IT at is to accelerate the use of enabling technologies such as IoT, Advanced analytics, digital twin, Augmented/Mixed reality and RPA.

In our Smart factory and architecture team, we are looking for a digital enabler who will be the driving force in developing enabling technologies in our industrial digitalization journey, aiming to work with the most innovative solutions. You will be managing a portfolio of initiatives driving development of enabling technologies to become IT services that effectively can be used to strengthen the digital capabilities within production and logistics.

Work description

You will work within the department Order to Delivery IT that are responsible for the delivery of IT to production and logistics and work closely with business representatives as well as with other parts of the IT organization.

Your assignment:

• Manage a portfolio of initiatives and products for the enabling technologies.
• Bring forward business case and roadmap for our digitalization initiatives.
• Drive change initiatives within P&L and on IT at Scania for implementation and use of the enabling technologies.

Lead a team of competence owners for our different focus areas aiming to find the best solutions for the customers demands.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are passionate about driving change and has experience of running business development projects. In the role, communication is a key, it is required that you have mind for structure and clarity, and a good ability to express yourself excellent in speech as well as in writing in both Swedish and English. You have an academic education on a master level within IT, with production and logistics experience, with good knowledge about digitalization trends and their use cases.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Good insight in and understanding for production and logistics business, and the future trends within digitalization.
• A good ability to lead yourself and others, experience from leading positions.
• A commitment and drive to work in a group and develop, deliver, simplify and improve.
