We are looking for  three Regualtory Experts to The BRIS Regulatory Advisory team supporting Nordea Asset & Wealth Management who are eager to support the organisation with monitoring and analysing the impact of forthcoming EU- and local regulatory changes and participate as subject matter experts in their implementation.

These positions will give you the opportunity to work with both legal and business-related matters and on both a cross-border and cross-business unit basis.
 
As of 1st of July all BRIS Regulatory teams will be united into one team in Global BRIS, Regulatory Transformation.
 
The three positions will be anchored in the Regulatory Assessment & Advisory team, responsible for the task described below, but expanded to cover the entire Nordea Group. This will open the opportunity to cover broader regualtory themes and with broader business area responsibilities also outside of Asset & Wealth Management as well as being part of a larger team.
 
Your future responsibilities
In Regulatory Advisory, we are responsible for ensuring that business units within Nordea Asset & Wealth Management are kept orderly informed on upcoming legislative EU- and local files applicable to the them. In active dialogue with the business representatives and management, Regulatory Advisory analyses the impact, including strategic elements, of such files and attends as subject matter experts in their implementation.
 
The three positions as Regulatory Experts comprises:
 
  • Analyse new regulation and assess its impact on the business units in Asset & Wealth Management
  • Create awareness with business stakeholders on relevant new regulation and its impact
  • Participate in regulatory implementation projects
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in relation to new regulation
  • Identify emerging trends in specific international policy and national and EU legislation
The role is based in Copenhagen, Helsinki or Stockholm as part of a small international team that interacts with various stakeholders across Asset & Wealth Management and the Nordea Group in general.

Your profile and background:
 
  • Master's degree in law or commercial law
  • Solid understanding of the financial industry and especially of the Wealth Management area
    • One of the positions requires furthermore knowledge in the IT/Cyber secuirty regulatory area
    • One position requires furthermore knowledge about ECB/SSM
  • A background of 4-6 years in regulatory/compliance-related matters or similar relevant job experience
  • Fully proficient in English, written and spoken
  • Has a high degree of integrity, are decisive and take initiative
  • Demonstrate energy and express professionalism, drive, self-motivation and commitment in your daily behavior
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adapt quickly to change, cope with a fast-paced environment and are willing to go the extra mile
