We are looking for a compliance officer to take on responsibilities in Nordea Life Holding AB . This is an opportunity for you to join a nordic team of compliance specialists working with ensuring compliance within Nordeas insurance companies.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join the Nordea Life Holding unit where you will be working with a wide variety of tasks within your field. Primarily you will be identifying, minimising and evaluating compliance risks, as well as engaging in dialogue with the business concerning the handling of these. This includes the development and preparation of monitoring and investigations, giving advice and reporting.  
 
What you'll be doing: 
 
  • Identifying, describing and assessing risks  
  • Participation in the planning of compliance activities  
  • Monitoring of controls and activities  
  • Advice and training of managers and employees on how to handle compliance risks  
  • Follow-up on internal and external regulation  
  • Reporting monitoring results, compliance risks and risk management   
The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Welcome to an international team with colleagues who have widespread contact with stakeholders across the bank.

Your profile and background:
 
  • 3-5 years experience from the insurance- or financial sector working within compliance, risk management, internal audit or similar.  
  • Strong team player with a capability to work independently.  
  • An analytical mindset with a good business acumen and a structured approach with attention to details.  
  • Strong ability to build relationsships at all levels of a company, using strong communication skills.  
  • Ability to work fluently, both orally and in writing, in English, while at least one of the Nordic languages is an advantage.
