Your future responsibilities
Group Valuation Analysis and Risk is responsible for valuation risk control and management across Nordea Group in the 2nd line of defence within Group Risk Management and Control. We ensure implementation of regulatory requirements, oversee and analyse valuation methods, processes and controls for all business areas, and actively participate in development activities and valuation decision-making.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving implementation of development activities in the valuation space through understanding risks, business and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the strategy setting for the valuation risk agenda and targets
- Product specific quantitative valuation risk analysis including IPV, other valuation control testing and some valuation models covering all asset classes
- Developing and implementing high quality analyses and reports to senior management and decision-making bodies
- Coordinating and interacting with business areas and external stakeholders

Your profile and background:
- Minimum 5 years of previous work experience in a valuation risk or control function or similar with a risk management mindset
- Mathematical, engineering or similar quantitative background as well as excellent academic credentials
- High motivation to understand business and stakeholders
- Profound understanding of valuation concepts and methodologies as well as financial instruments
- Relevant regulatory (CRR), accounting rules (IFRS 13, 9) and market practice knowledge
- Hands-on capabilities (e.g. command of IT applications, maths, programming)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language
