The DICE IT team is looking for an IT Service Specialist who will be focusing on supporting our end users with both hardware and software issues. You will be one in a team of nine people responsible for delivering high quality IT support in Sweden. The work in our IT department is team oriented and we are jointly responsible for achieving our goals, even though we have a few different locations.

As an IT Service Specialist your day to day responsibilities involve many tasks, but to keep it simple – it’s mainly about supporting our users.

Some insights about the tasks include:

• Provide technical support to end-users on both hardware and software issues.
• Prepare, configure and deploy workstations, laptops and other user devices upon the onset of a new hire.
• Provide first and second level technical support via our ticket system, email and Slack.
• Purchasing of hardware and software, managing of licenses and hardware inventory.

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac client OS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and/or Google Suite.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Basic knowledge about virtualization.
• Strong problem solving skills and troubleshooting.
• The ability to learn and support new applications.
• Flexibility and service oriented.
• Likes team oriented work and collaboration with vendors and partners.
• Self-motivated, outgoing and sociable.
• A genuine interest in IT.
