Tax Manager to COMTAX

We are now looking for a talented and driven tax lawyer or economist specialized in international corporate tax law to join us at our Lund office.
Responsibilities
As Tax Manager at COMTAX you will be responsible for keeping the information in our products up-to-date and making sure our products produce calculation results of highest accuracy with regards to both national tax law and applicable tax treaties.
You keep up-to-date with developments in international tax law through our close cooperation with our main partner – IBFD, as well as our correspondents in other jurisdictions.
With a managerial role of 1-2 persons and in close cooperation with our IT department, you will actively take part in improvement and further development of COMTAX tax tool in order to meet our customers’ practical needs for tax optimization and administration.
You will also act as a consultant for our customers in technical tax law matters and keep your colleagues up to date on important developments within international tax law.
We are currently also in a phase of developing a new tax platform in order to comply with new regulations in the fast-changing tax industry and you are expected to partake in this process.

Profile and qualifications
The ideal candidate

Has an academic degree within law, business or economy with a specialization in international tax law.

Has at least 3-6 years of experience from a qualified position for example at a corporate tax department, as a tax consultant or as tax administrator at a national Tax Agency with focus on direct corporate taxation.

A good understanding of our customers’ needs and requests in order to meet future requirements of the international tax industry.

Excellent knowledge in tax treaty law.

Has excellent skills in oral and written English (Swedish is meritorious).

Is business- and solution-oriented.

Is a team player and can also take on a leadership role.
