The department for research and external cooperation (TER) within production and logistics (P&L) is responsible for leading and supporting P&L in research and external cooperation with universities and research institutes. TER also supports P&L in the industrialization of research results. Based on P&L Technology Roadmap (TRM), TER actively influences the surrounding society to strengthen prerequisites for manufacturing of heavy vehicles.
TER is a department within Global Industrial Development (TE), which is a staff function within P&L.
Your taskYour main task will be to support Scania’s production and logistics with the activities described below. You will also take part in the development of internal processes at TE and TER.
In your role as Research Engineer you will lead or participate in the following activities:
You hold a PhD degree in engineering or equivalent. You have an extensive network within universities and research institutes in Sweden as well as internationally.
General knowledge about Scania and Scania Production System (SPS, lean at Scania) focused on production and logistics.
Knowledge in the German language is an advantage.
As a person you are analytical, structured, organized, and have extensive communication skills. Furthermore you are open-minded, service-minded, and available for the organization in order to deal with many different questions .
