Group Lending & Payments (GLP) has established a support function, GLP Office. Erika Karlsson is heading GLP Office that will support the Head of GLP when needed and all GLP units with issues that can be coordinated for best result. Support is given to the Baltic countries and Sweden as well as to somewhat lower degree to the other Nordic countries. The GLP Office is responsible for the regulatory and scheme coordination, transformation coordination and project management coordination in GLP as well as the product documentations in the group.

The GLP Regulatory and Scheme Management team is headed by Jan-Olof Brunila and the number of FTEs is approx. 7 currently primarily located in Stockholm. They work with product regulatory watch, analysis and implementations as well as card scheme coordination. As AML Officer/Privacy Manager for GLP you will be part of the team.

We are now looking for two AML Officers/Privacy Managers for GLP. The main product groups that GLP are responsible for are the lending and payment products that include a wide variety of products such as mortgages, consumer finance loans, leasing products, domestic and international payments, issuing and acquiring products.

You will lead the product and process mapping of the GLP products in accordance to the AML/CTF and GDPR regulations. You will also support the implementation of AML/CTF and GDPR regulation in all the GLP products and processes. You will represent GLP in the Swedbank AML/CTF and GDPR community and channel AML/CTF and GDPR knowledge between GLP and the community. You will work closely with the product areas and their Product Owners as well as GSS GDPR/DSR Backoffice and Risk Managers First Line. The second line AML team within Compliance is your natural speaking partner for the AML/CTF related work and the Privacy Office within Group CVM for GDPR related work. You will report to Head of GLP Regulatory and Scheme Management.

Your main responsibilities will together be to:

  • Interpret the AML/CTF and GDPR regulations for the GLP products and processes as well as maintain the design principles decided by the bank
  • Lead the AML/CTF and GDPR work for the lending and payments
  • Lead the ongoing product and process mapping of the GLP products in accordance to the AML/CTF regulations
  • Lead the maintenance of the GDPR related Data protection impact assessments(Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), the Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA) and possible be the owner of the Article6 30 Register for GLP
  • Support the implementation/maintenance of AML/CTF and GDPR in the all the GLP products and processes
  • Represent GLP in the Swedbank AML/CTF community and in the Privacy Office and channel AML/CTF and GDPR knowledge between GLP and the communities

What you need to succeed
  • You have preferable a law degree a/o extensive knowledge of interpretation and implementation of complex regulations in particular AML/CTF a/o GPDR.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the lending and payments products
  • Proven cross-unit and cross-country experience
  • Good cooperation skills – proven ability to work through others and achieve results
  • Good structure, execution capability and drive

  • The ability to have a holistic view
  • Good communication skills

You need to be fluent in written and spoken English a/o Swedish or one of the three Baltic languages. One position is based in Stockholm and one position in one of the Baltic countries. They will require some travelling to the other Baltic and Nordic countries on a regular basis.
