About the job

We are looking for a Business Analyst to a join one of the Cross Functional Teams within the Accounting value stream, which is part of the BIO Group Functions. The value stream is focused on developing and maintaining our customer services in a way that supports our strategy in the Accounting area. The team is located cross-border- both in Sweden and Baltics.
In the position as Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for detailing and anchoring of the backlog items and quality assurance of delivered functionality and also maintenance tasks within the Swedbank AB Accounting area which includes Oracle General Ledger and Financial Accounting Hub, Huvudboken, Avräkning, Avstämning and Felrutin.

In the Business Analyst role you will be responsible for:

  • Participate and/or lead the work of gathering requirements from business stakeholders
  • Together with Agile Product Owner work on breaking down product backlogs into MVP´s and user stories
  • Express Product Backlog in terms of Jira User stories with acceptance criteria and other required details
  • Provide help and support to software engineers to ensure a common understanding of requirements
  • Participate in team's scrum ceremonies and lead requirements refinement sessions
  • Take part in testing of new functionality to determine if a solution has fulfilled the requirements
  • Participate in production support activities
  • Investigate issues
  • Provide consultation to the business users
  • Assist in end-user training
  • Perform daily/monthly/yearly routines around the systems

What you need to succeed

The ideal candidate has/is:

  • At least 3 years of experience as Business/System Analyst, Product Owner, Requirements, Test Manager or similar
  • Understanding and knowledge of the accounting processes
  • Experience from working with Oracle General Ledger/Accounting Hub and/or Mainframe built applications
  • Comfortable at and experienced in writing User Stories and experienced in Agile way of working
  • Experience of working with test process and a understanding for regression and acceptance tests
  • Strong communications skills and fluent in English
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to details
  • Relevant University degree
