Business Solution Analyst (BSA), Business Development

Business Development is responsible for collecting, planning, driving and doing the follow-up of the Business Developments initiatives. Focus for the organization is cross functional development. We want to create simplified and unified prioritization and steering and set an even stronger focus on customer experience.
Business Development works cross-functional and covering business development globally for H&M groups +60 online markets and our +4.600 stores with the mission to continuously improve and modernize the customer experience.
As a Business Solution Analyst (BSA) you will be an expert within your focus area and contribute to the digital realization of our business needs. BSA is a key role in realizing business development into working business solutions. You will be the business representative in a team working in the intersection between Business and IT. You will work closely with your business stakeholder as well as your IT partners, balancing between business and IT.
We are now looking for Business Solution Analysts within the following areas:
- Checkout in Store – as a BSA you will work with initiatives that is connected to check out in store, such as enhancements of current solution, mobile POS, alternative check out solutions, digital features etc
- Order & Delivery online/omni – as a BSA in this area you will focus to ensure the best customer experience in the last part of the customer value chain – for example online checkout, our OMNI-initiatives and delivery methods.
- Product & Merch online/omni– as a BSA in P&M you will focus on the content production of all new products on site such as images and product information and how this is presented onsite and in our omni channels to our customers.
- Stock management – as a BSA within this area you will work with areas such as RFID, as well as optimizing delivery and product flow in our stores and to our customers.
Your main responsibilities will be (but not limited to);
• Identifying, gathering, clarifying, analyzing and coordinating business needs and business effects.
• Translate business needs into clear business requirements
• Connect requirements to business goals
• Highlight dependencies and effects on business level
• Support related IT area in verification of solution proposals and with business understanding during the development and test.
• Support in analyzing the business effect of new requirements and developments made
• Be a resource in cross functional projects that touches your area of responsibility
We expect that you have:
• Strong customer focus and commercial thinking
• A master degree in business and/or engineering
• Structured and strong planning and executing skills together with a “can-do attitude” and a self-motivating way of working
• Easy and clear way of communicating
• The ability to see the big picture as well as seeking business opportunities
• Experience from requirement management.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Beneficial if you also have:
o Knowledge about IT systems, organization and processes within retail.
o Experience from working in a large company
o Experience from working in a retail e-commerce.
