Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

 

We are now looking for persons with a significant interest in software development. You will play a central role in our development teams and will have many contacts around the Scania organization as well as in the Volkswagen group. We can offer work close to operations with technical variation at a company with a very good working environment.

The group Purchasing IT within Scania is responsible for developing and managing IT systems within Scania’s Purchasing department.

 

Your role

In this role you need to have a good understanding of the IT system development lifecycle and be used to work in an agile way. As a member of the development team you will mainly work with development/coding in our own developed quality application that now is facing an exciting future.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience, complemented with a minimum of two year’s developing experience in .NET.

We also think you have:

  • Good knowledge of .NET and Microsoft products (e.g. C#, SQL server)
  • The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify and improve
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience of working in software development team
  • Experience of developing WEB applications

If you’re also interested in WEB user interface design it is meritorious.
