Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Application Expert in the international Accounting & Controlling Systems team within Finance Business Support (FBS). You will be one of approx. 20 persons in the team and report to Head of Accounting & Controlling Systems.
The Application Expert supports to achieve the targets of Accounting & Controlling Systems and act as ambassador of the Processes and Systems mission and strategy.
Contributing to the ERP roadmap will be the key task within the coming period.
The Accounting & Controlling Systems team contributes to and manages group wide and interdisciplinary projects (e.g. carve-outs, business innovation), changes and improvements from process and system perspective.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
• Drive harmonisation, improve and support functional development of Finance systems, e.g. SAP, for respective area of responsibility and act as interface/SPOC towards IT and supplier
• Take responsibility for defining/describing Finance requirements/needs, detailed designs, authorisation management, troubleshooting and development, implementation and test of change requests
• Support system and process governance
• Secure reporting interfaces and implementation of reporting and planning requirements and processes in SAP including BW
• Lead and support system projects, e.g. establishment of new companies, …
• Coordinate, inform and interact with Key Users
• Coordinate centralized master data management, especially related to Chart of Accounts, cost and profit centres
• Contribute to good relationships and good service towards internal customers and partners and BPO provider
• Execute services with high quality and timeliness of the delivery following common processes, policies and guidelines
• Provide process improvement ideas to process experts / process specialists
• Participate in development projects within FBS or group-wide / interdisciplinary projects
Your qualifications and personal skills as an Application Expert:
• Relevant University degree (e.g. in Business administration, Accounting, Controlling) or comparable other training
• 3-5 years of experience from working with accounting and statutory reporting, e.g. with Chart of Accounts
• Proven experience from working with ERP systems
• Experience from managing of or coordinating within projects
• Good understanding of all Finance / Accounting systems
• Good knowledge of the Record to Report and Plan to Perform processes end-to-end
• Ability to work in a team and to work proactively and solution oriented
• Ability to work in large and complex organizations and to handle internal and external interfaces effectively
• Fluent in Swedish and English (both verbally and written)
Location: Arenastaden, Solna
Some travel will be required.
