Application Manager, Group Financial Crime Prevention i Stockholm

We are looking for an Application Manager to secure that the Financial Anti-Crime Platform (FACP) and other AML solutions are maintained and supported at the expected level of quality and costs. Your future responsibilities
You’ll join Group Financial Crime Prevention’s Application Management subunit where we are accountable for the Financial Anti-Crime Platform system which is used by the Know Your Customer (KYC), Transaction Monitoring (TM) and Sanction Screening units (SSU). We are also accountable and responsible for incidents and user support management as well as business release management. Your role will be an experienced Application Manager to contribute with your skills and engagement in managing application ownership capabilities in Nordea’s continued fight against financial crime.  
 
What you’ll be doing:  
 
  • Drive and execute on Application strategy, risks, audits, plans, SLA’s and IT security  
  • Drive initiatives or act as business partner in projects that impact the platform  
  • Work closely with our Business Release Manager and stakeholders to secure and to develop our release processes towards more agile principles  
  • Take decisions for change, project gate passing, and releases  
  • Act as the escalation point via User Support for Application problems and as the one-point-of-entry for business units

Your profile and background:
 
  • Master degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or Finance/Economics  
  • At minimum 5 years of working experience within Application Management, Release Management, or as a Business application owner  
  • Experience of establishing and continually improving agile working processes with the ability to execute responsibilities through individual and team work (e.g. lead a task force, chair forums).  
  • Experience in the AML, regulatory or sanctions areas within banking and finance sectors will be considered an advantage  
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in English  
  • Structured and result-oriented approach to work, with the ability to manage and plan multiple objectives including strong analytical skills  
  • Experience in defining and maintaining Business Release Processes with focus on agile principles  
  • Strong stakeholder management in dynamic multicultural environment and the ability to demonstrate cultural awareness
