Your future responsibilities
As a Business Developer, you will participate in the development of our advisory concepts and digital solutions for advisors and customers within the financial planning, savings- and investment advice area. Thus, you will impact the advice given through advisors and digital solutions to millions of customers in Retail-, Corporate and Private Banking in the four Nordic countries.
You will be part of the Advisory Concepts & Development team in Investment Center, Wealth Management. We are a team of 18 people across the Nordics working in a scaled agile development set-up with 75 IT developers. In Advisory Concepts & Development we are highly committed to deliver on Nordea’s relationship banking strategy, by creating great financial planning and savings experiences for our customers. We create great customer experiences by making financial planning, savings and investments understandable, engaging and interactive, and we help our customers optimize their savings and investments through guidance, coaching and advice to satisfy their needs and reach their goals and dreams.
What you’ll be doing:
- In-depth and structured business research and analysis as well as customer testing
- Define, prioritize and write the stories outlining the business requirements to be developed by the IT developers
- Testing the newly developed digital solutions
- Support the IT developers throughout the development process
- Implementation related tasks
- Work closely together with other specialists in Investment Center from Investments, Investment Products, Implementation to Experience and Design etc.
- Work closely together with other internal Nordea clients/stakeholders, including Digital Wealth, Personal Banking, Private Banking, Commercial & Business Banking, Nordea Life & Pensions and Nordea Markets.
The role can be based either in Copenhagen, Stockholm or Helsinki.

Your profile and background:
- A thorough analytical approach and capability to work independently on matters with high level of responsibility
- A master’s degree within business and economics, e-business or similar knowledge from advising customers within relevant areas
- Preferably experience with business development and digital applications in an agile and cross-country organisation and/or experience from working with savings and investment products and a familiarity with financial advisory concepts and processes such as investment advice, retirement planning and personal insurance planning
- Proven strong team-spirit and outgoing personality ensuring coordination within the team and with all internal and external stakeholders
- An innovative mindset and a natural curiosity
- Great communication skills, both verbally and written both in a Nordic language and English
