Your responsibility

We want our teams to be autonomous and agile, always working closely with our customers. As a member of our development team we want you to have a good understanding of the development lifecycle and as a Front End Java developer you will mainly work with designing, coding and quality assurance.

We expect you to have experience within the following fields:

• Java 8
• Angular
• IntelliJ
• Jasmine
• Agile development methods, preferably Scrum
• Bootstrap
• Less/CSS
• Sinon
• Sinon Chai
• Gulp

If you have experience in Angular 6 or 7, Jenkins, Perforce and TDD it is considered a merit. 

Your profile

We are looking for applicants with a relevant IT education and a great will to learn, years of work life experience is not the most important factor!

We hope you have the following mindset:

• You never do boring tasks, because you have automated them
• You have no problem with pair programming, instead you see it as an opportunity to share and learn new things
• You enjoy working in an agile team and you really understand the meaning of the Agile Manifesto
• Curious to learn new techniques and skills 

You should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with a team, but also work independently when required. Your ability to take responsibility for the application, be structured in your work and focus on quality is very important. You must be proficient in written and spoken English and it is good if you also speak Swedish.

The location

Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania’s own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city or Liljeholmen directly to Scania in Södertälje.
