Compliance Specialist – Depositary Services i Stockholm

Swedbank provides depositary banking services to fund management companies. We are now looking for a Compliance Specialist whose primary task is to ensure oversight of investment funds, including completion of various compliance checks and coordination of our compliance activities with existing and prospective clients.

This is a temporary posion from January 2019 until January 2020. 

• University degree in economics, legal or finance
• At least two years' experience from fund compliance, fund management company or fund administration or securities operations related back-office tasks
• Very good understanding of investment funds' flows and processes, including principles of valuation
• Good understanding of fund regulation (EU and Sweden)
• Good analytical and calculation skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Basic Bloomberg knowledge
• Good presentation and communication skills, fluent command of Swedish and English
• Client facing capabilities (no selling, though)
• Strong achievement orientation and strive for excellence
  
  

Securities operations related functions, fund compliance, fund management company or fund administration.

This broad role will give a unique opportunity to develop fiduciary oversight skills in all aspects of fund industry. In addition, the role provides wide exposure to many areas within Swedbank including Fund Services/Operations, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Financial Control. The role offers an opportunity to enhance regulatory knowledge of the fund industry in Europe.
