Business Development is responsible for global business development for H&M group, with 60+ online markets and our 4.600+ stores with the mission to continuously improve and modernize the customer experience. We do this by working cross functionally in close collaboration with other functions and the country organizations.
The POS platform lies within the check out in store area and our projects and solutions are global, covering all our stores, brands and markets.
As a business project manager within the POS platform delivery your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
· Be the business counterpart towards our IT department concerning the POS Platform.
· Deliver on an already set business feature roadmap realized through the POS.
· Support development teams with business knowledge and follow-up on on-going development and implementations.
· Verify that developed solution meets business requirements.
· Keep business stakeholders up to date regarding time line and roll out for upgrades of platform.
· Responsible for driving each POS release from a business perspective and support the business organization to ensure operational readiness (drive business change) and successful user implementation for new functionality.
· Work closely with country support team within global sales & operation to ensure that training material is created and that manuals are updated in time for the release.
· Secure and communicate platform development cycle to business stakeholders.
· Secure follow up on solution performance, cost, business impact and outcome.
· Support maintenance process and continuous improvements.
· Prioritize defects in close collaboration with country and stakeholders (accounting, controlling, operation etc).
· Escalation point towards IT.
· Get maximized business value from supported platform by knowing the suppliers and the potential of the POS platform.
A successful candidate should have the following qualifications/experiences:
· A Master’s degree in business, economics and/or engineering.
· At least 3-5 years relevant work experience within check out/POS/Payments (preferably in a cross functional environment).
· Strong customer focus and commercial thinking.
· Experience from working in the intersection between business and IT (preferably within retail).
· Structured and strong planning and executing skills together with a can-do attitude and a self-motivating way of working.
· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
· Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
