Do you have a passion for purchase and business and would you like to be a part of H&M’s expansion? If so, come and join our team that is globally responsible for purchase of non-commercial goods and campaign products.

 

We are looking for a Buyer to our NCGP department – a part of H&M Global Expansion. The Global Expansion department is responsible for all current and future stores in the H&M Group world-wide (4900+ stores). The Expansion team drives all aspects of creating our H&M stores, i.e. to lease, design, draw, buy, build and maintain each store.

 

The NCGP function is responsible for buying all non-commercial goods for the H&M store, i.e. e tables, floors, lights, visual and marketing material. The function manages purchasing for several hundred store projects every year.

 

We are now looking to further strengthen our team by adding an ambitious and service minded Buyer of purchasing campaign products. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and high-speed environment. We believe that you enjoy challenges, responsibility, finding the best deal and that you can handle multiple stakeholders.

 

Job Description

As a Buyer, you have responsibility for driving the purchase strategy and securing the best deal for H&M. In the role you work in collaboration with Product Developers as well as Creators to deliver the best purchase for NCG campaign products while upholding the H&M sustainability values and Standard Purchase Conditions (SPC). You are a key person in the developing cooperation between the NCGP department and the production offices.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Secure the H&M brand identity through innovative purchases
  • Secure planning for design, product development and production processes based on lead times.
  • Ensure targets and plans along with the production offices to develop new presentation materials and new technologies
  • Deliver reference pricing based on production forecasts. 
  • Price analyses on the tender (first and final price quotation).
  • Secure purchased material (legal and security aspect).                  
  • Secure that set budget for each campaign is followed.
  • Contract responsible. 

We believe you have:

  • 2+ years of purchasing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics and/or related relevant education.
  • Experience from a similar role or good insight, for example as a Buyer Assistant role.
  • Strategic and analytical skills and mindset.
  • Business minded with creative interests.
  • Excellent analytical and communication capabilities.
  • Driven by making the best deal while considering price, lead-time, quality and sustainability.
  • Thriving in a fast pace where rapid changes are everyday events.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge in Excel.


This role is a substitute position for approx. 12 months.

 

The role is located in Stockholm.
