We are looking for an Insurance Specialist to strengthen the Insurance group at H&M’s Finance Department
The Global Accounting & Finance Function is responsible to make sure that the H&M Group can handle all business initiatives in a legal complying way and ensure that all brands and sales-channels are aligned from an accounting & finance perspective. We are responsible for assuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace of the H&M-group.
The Finance Department is responsible for all financial activities for the H&M Group including Treasury, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Insurance and Incoming payment solutions for store and e-commerce. The Finance Department is based in Stockholm and Borås.
The Insurance group within the Finance Department manage the H & M Group’s insurances, and you will be our internal contact person as well as our external representative for insurance related matters.
Responsibilities within the Insurance group:
- Procure, manage and coordinate all Group Insurance programs including Liability, Financial Lines, Transport and Property insurance.
- Be a service function and advisor within H & M Group.
- Regular contacts and meetings with our insurance companies.
- Continuous risk mapping and development of our terms and conditions.
- Analysis of our claims and follow up claims payments.
- Part of loss prevention work within the Group together with relevant functions.
- Administer and report insurance values.
- Create and improve routines for administration, structure, methods and processes to ensure good quality in the current insurance programs.

Your personal qualities also include:
- A relevant academic degree
- 2-5 years’ relevant work experience from the insurance industry or from a risk management department
- Deep knowledge about insurance, covering several types of insurances
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
