Developer to Business Intelligence i Stockholm

Are you a BI Developer skilled in Microsoft BI looking for your next challenge?

We are looking for a developer to join us, one of Sweden’s largest Business Intelligence departments, where you have a key role in developing and designing to secure our BI solutions.

You will join a small dynamic team within Service Area BI where you will have a key role in delivering value to a fast moving, high-demanding business. Work is planned and executed in a very agile way using Kanban.

The work includes both development and test so it is important to have an interest in understanding the business effect and work iteratively together with business stakeholders and take ownership of what is developed. Also support towards business stakeholders is included.

You and your team closely collaborate with the business, our production organization, where a wide range of analysis is done in key areas such as lead time, quality and sustainability. In the service area business intelligence, we develop BI solutions to help our business units make the right strategic and operational decisions. The demand for BI solutions is high and is expected to grow as the need for decision support is growing in most business functions.

We are in the beginning of a very expansive phase where we are starting to move towards changing our technical platform from a on prem solution to an Azure cloud solution. You have the chance to be part of the journey from the beginning – moving from SSAS multi-dimensional cubes to tabular models.

We believe that you are a person who will come up with creative ideas and solutions for how to solve the analysis needs that our business requires. In other words, you have great influence in providing the analytics that’s making our business successful. You have a big interest in how the BI solution supports the business value chain and will enjoy being involved in every step from start to finish in the development process.

Your responsibilities

The job as developer comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

• Participate in the analysis and understanding of business requirements and assure that the solution meets both business and IT requirements, as well as translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Responsible for designing and develop ETL and cube solution
• Responsible for designing, developing and set up of integrations to a full data warehouse solution
• You will be part of a development team and interacting with several surrounding stakeholders, within both business and IT

Your skills

And your skills includes:

• Several years’ experience of development of data warehouses and Business Intelligence solutions, preferably in the Microsoft-suite or Data Warehouse appliances
• The ability to understand and work on both overall- and detailed level
• The ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English and communication skills in Swedis

Tools used:

Our solution is built on Microsoft SQL server using: SSIS, SSMS, SSAS.
