3D Environment Artist i Stockholm

Paradox Development Studio is now looking for a talented 3D Environment Artist to join our art team in Stockholm, working mainly on producing world class environments and 3D assets for our in-house titles.

We are looking for artists to create and shape the worlds of our grand strategy games. You will be responsible for creating environments of varying styles and settings which all need to be crafted within the style and quality set forth by the Art Director.

The successful candidate will also be able to create models such as vehicles, creatures, buildings, foliage, space structures etc, covering both hard surface and organic models.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality Environments for upcoming Paradox titles
• Create high quality 3D Assets
• Take directions from Art Leads
• Communicate effectively and proactively with other team members

Required Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience working in the games industry
• Proficiency in zbrush and or equivalent
• Strong familiarity with Maya and Photoshop
• Proficiency with Substance tools and Marvelous Designer
• Some proficiency in technical skills and scripting
• An interest and understanding of world culture and history

Experience in the following is a plus:

• Familiarity with Paradox grand-strategy games
• Good communication and pedagogical skills
• Proficiency in World Machine
• Technical art skills
• 2D art
