Are you interested in Beauty and chemical products and have some experience of working within the field of quality/chemistry? Are you a team player with a can-do attitude? Do you like a fast pace? Then you should apply for this exciting role in our team.

H&M has a production office in Stockholm working with Cosmetics and Chemical products. We are a team supporting our buying offices (multibrand within H&M Group) and take responsibility for the production of our assortment. We are now looking for a Chemist to join our team.

The main responsibilities within the role are: 
  • Work closely with the team to secure the quality of the products from both safety and efficacy point of view, focus will be chemical products.
  • Work proactively to prevent quality issues and set quality routines and methods.
  • Review CLP classifications of chemical products.
  • Review SDS and FMD.
  • Understand H&M chemical requirements and ensure that all requirements are followed.
  • Educate, evaluate and support suppliers on how to comply with H&M’s requirements.
  • Work closely with the team on new product developments and support on ingredient level.
  • Support product registration.
  • Perform risk assessment of chemical products.
  • Review documents such as INCI, PI files etc.
We see that you:
  • Hold a degree in Chemistry
  • Have a couple of years work experience within a similar area.
  • Have good experience in CLP regulation and classification.
  • Are outgoing and enjoy teamwork
  • Hold analytical skills
  • Are an organized person and can manage documentation, materials and sometimes complex information
  • Hold a proactive approach and a positive mindset
  • Love to learn new things and are eager to support the team
This is a fulltime position starting as soon as possible, based at our Head Office in Stockholm.
