Vattenfall has embarked on a new journey where digitalisation is a corner stone. The energy landscape is changing and requires Vattenfall to adopt with it in our endeavour to harness on emerging opportunities like Internet of things (ability to steer devices and loads at the edge of the grid) and E-Mobility (charging infrastructure and networks). Main tasks and responsibilities as an Information Security Officer:
As information security officer, you will have a key role within information security governance of Vattenfall. You will develop information security and cyber policies, undertake risk assessments and compliance reviews as well as provide insight and guidance to key business stakeholders. You will manage the Vattenfall Information Security Management System and associated industry Information and Cyber security certifications. Information security is an increasingly important discipline for Vattenfall business through an increased digitalization, emerging cyber threats and regulations.
 
• Further develop and maintain our group wide Information Security Management System.
• Perform and educate on how to perform information asset classification workshops in the organisation.
• Perform and educate on how to perform risk assessments in the organisation.
• Drive behavioural change to continuously improve information security performance through coordinated Group-wide programs and initiatives.
• Raise the information security awareness in the organisation
• Within the area of information security, you will cooperate with and support the Vattenfall Group as well as collaborate with external agencies and organisations.
 
The Information Security Officer is part of the Corporate Security & Resilience Function and reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.
 
Your profile and qualifications:
• Academic degree within relevant area to information security.
• Relevant certifications such as CPP, CISSP, CISM are a major plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant information security position.
• Experience of Information Security Management with an international focus.
• Our best candidate masters our group language English, both spoken and written on an excellent professional level.
• Knowledge of working methods and requirements in the energy industry.
 
You know this area well and have a pragmatic attitude and like to work in a dynamic international environment. You are someone who can ask critical questions and constantly strives for improvement.
 
Location: flexible (Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Solna or other Vattenfall location in Sweden)
