Corporate Human Resources supports local HR-departments which in turn supply Scania with qualified and dedicated employees who can grow with the company. By creating framework and standards with a proactive and constructive approach, Corporate Human Resources is working with a focus on business driven HR.

Labour Affairs covers the areas People Sustainability, Labour law, Labour Relations and HR Compliance. As a member of Labour Affairs team, you will be reporting to Head of Labour Affairs.

Job description

You will, together with Head of Labour Affairs, be responsible for HR Compliance in Scania.

This role is new in Scania and therefore will develop over time. You will, within the area of responsibility, participate in:

  • developing Scania’s corporate standards, in close cooperation with the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)-function, HR and other concerned Scania functions
  • the joint work in TRATON with developing the group standards
  • supporting global implementation in Scania of defined standards
  • follow up in the people area
  • act as the interface between TRATON or VW and the Scania Group including HR
  • as the HR Compliance Coordinator in individual misconduct cases coming from the whistleblowing system or other hints where corporate participation is needed

The job will require some travel.

Your profile

The mission requires above all the ability to work in a supportive manner, according to Scania’s values, while at the same time safeguarding Scania’s compliance in HR. The work will demand strategic, operational, communicative as well as administrative skills.

To succeed in this role you need to be good at establishing relationships and it is a clear advantage to have excellent communication skills.

You have an academic degree or other relevant education/skills or experience in the area of law or compliance.

Knowledge of project management is important. 

You should also have good knowledge of the HR field and experience of working with sustainability in the labour practices area is an advantage.

An already existing network within the TRATON Group would be a benefit.

When it comes to language you need to be fluent in English.
