UGM Sites & Service has a global responsibility within ABB for service and commissioning to our mining customers. We mainly work with installation, commissioning & service on Mine Hoists, Ventilation control and Mechanical Equipment. We perform upgrades to Mine Hoists all over the world and are involved in the development of new mining solutions together with our product company. In addition, we are working on projects to create new services and products to further simplify mining services.s.

In this position you will commission hoists together with a team of 16 colleagues located in Sweden (Skellefteå, Västerås, Kiruna & Gällivare). This means that you will, among other things, lead work activities, coordinate our work on site. Each commissioning will imply thorough preparations as well as completion with time sheets and reports. You will also collaborate with staff from various functions within our unit and provide technical support to our customers. Although you are based in one of the location Kiruna, Gällivare, Skellefteå or Västerås, most of the work will be performed in Sweden or abroad. You will travel approximately 100-150 days annually and in periods of two to four weeks.
This means that you will have the benefit to experience various sites and countries all over the globe. All these responsibilities will add valuable competence to your repertoire and you will have great development opportunities within ABB.

We are looking for a technically interested person who always puts the customer in focus and is good at communicating and building relationships. You have a degree in technical or electrical engineering or relevant work experience. We want you to be experienced and interested of service and commissioning. Knowledge of ABB's control systems, drive systems and electrical engineering is an advantage. Knowledge in mine hoists or mining industry is meritful. Driving license is a requirement. You speak and write english without any problems.
