IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Thesis project at Scania is an excellent way of making contacts for your future working life. Many of our current employees started their career with a thesis project. This thesis is within the New Technology team at Scania IT and you will be working within a field of great strategic value for Scania.

Background:

Scania is implementing an automation platform for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) that will support our Business to automate administrative work tasks, by enabling Digital Workforce. It is a concept of automating user interface tasks by setting up a rule-based structure to take defined actions within any kind of application.

Target:

Evaluate different architecture frameworks and recommend one or more suitable frameworks for Scania RPA. The architectural framework should include design principles and guidelines how to create reusable components that streamline development.

Assignment:

Present an architecture framework that will optimize the use of Scania RPA.

Education:
Specify education or specialization: master student in IT or statistics, data science or similar.

Knowledge in the following subjects would be beneficial: RPA, architecture frameworks, design principles, component design, software development
