Supply Chain Manager to BoKlok i Gullringen

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to BoKlok
 
BoKlok develop, sell, manufacture and assemble affordable homes in chosen geographic markets. The brand and concept is owned jointly by IKEA & Skanska while the daily operations are managed by BoKlok units fully owned by Skanska.

The whole idea behind BoKlok is to offer sustainable and affordable homes in the low price segment to enable as many as possible to afford to buy one.  

The way to do this is to focus on a very limited product portfolio and the use of industrialized processes in the whole value chain. 

The business in is currently focused on the Nordics (Sweden, Norway and Finland) and an entry to UK is currently being explored. BoKlok sells about 1 200 homes yearly in the Nordics. With future added business in UK the activity level will increase over time. 

The Supply Chain Manager role comprise responsibility for procurement activities regarding goods that are used on a repetitive level all over BoKlok and overall responsibility for the wholly owned production facility (named Gullringen) located in the Southern part of Sweden. In this facility, more than 600 homes for are manufactured yearly for the Swedish market. A major investment aiming at transforming the facility into a world class leading industrial housing factory with more than 50% increased capacity is currently been carried out.

You’ll

• head the BoKlok Procurement Function including the Gullringen factory (with P&L-responsibility for the activities in Gullringen)
• lead, develop and inspire the Supply Chain team currently consisting of ~250 persons (of which ~200 are blue-collar workers in the factory) with direct managerial responsibility for two individuals (the procurement manager and the factory manager)
• become a member of BoKlok Management Team
• report directly to the “BUP” of BoKlok
• be overall responsible for activities in strategic plans (business plan and other) especially connected to the Supply Chain oriented activities
• participate in various internal and external groups in relevant areas

We’re looking for

•  strong leader with the ability to provide positive leadership and clear direction to a wide-ranging team
• a track record of success in procurement, residential project development & execution and ideally also industrial construction
• well-developed interpersonal skills
• ability to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
• educated to Degree level (or equivalent) preferable
