Responsibilities
Product Marketing is a versatile function which spans the entire IoT Product Portfolio and you will work close with many different parts of the organization. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of appealing value propositions for our innovative digital products and services. You will work with Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams and together with our partners to create high quality communication and content.
This is a broad role with many different tasks. It will include a wide range of areas, from the first business case and minimum viable product to build standard pricing models and creating new product combinations.
You will:
Be the “IoT Value Proposition Owner” and develop a mission, vision and strategy for the portfolio together with the Product Managers that aligns to Tele2 IoT’s overall strategy and product vision.
Support the creation of business cases for new products and features.
Verify and incubate new product initiatives in the market with commercial teams and customers
Support successful launches, roll-outs and updates towards commercial teams and customers
Work closely with the Commercial Teams to produce informative product proposition presentations for different product lines and product/market combinations
Perform accurate analysis to keep the product and commercial teams up to date about market developments from a product and value proposition perspective
Find and analyze trends to initiate product development and improvements
Generate customer insights, identify customer needs and convert them into specific up- & cross sell and retention propositions.
Development and implementation of specific go-to-market strategies
Train the Commercial Teams in the different value propositions
Qualifications and Competencies:
We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills who easily builds relations with people and who makes things happen. The right candidate has a business- and commercial mindset with good writing capabilities, a great eye for design, and is highly self-motivated.
We believe you have:
Experience working with B2B marketing. Any experience of telecom or IT industry or M2M/IoT is an advantage.
Experience in close cooperation with Commercial/Sales teams.
Knowledge of the pricing and cost components in telecoms related offerings.
University education in business and/or economics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Great interest in new technologies with a drive to learn more.
